| When is your rental season? |

| How much does a rental unit cost? |
All of the prices and terms & conditions for our motor home rentals can be found on our website. Use the Quick Quote Form to receive a quote from one of our Rental Representatives.

| What is the cost of kilometers? |
Kilometer Packages may also be purchased up to and/or on the day of pick up
- 300 Kilometre Packages - $105.00 + Tax
- 700 Kilometre Packages - $245.00 + Tax
- Additional Kilometers are - .40 cents each

| What deposits are required? |
A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied toward your rental charges. The balance of your rental is due at least 30 days prior to the pick up date. On the day of the pick up we require a cleaning deposit of $150.00 and a $500.00 pre-authorized security deposit. If your reservation does not include our CDR/VIP Insurance, the security deposit will be $7500. Deposit can be made with a Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit card. Cheques, prepaid credit cards and ATM cards are NOT accepted for deposits. Deposits are refundable upon vehicle check-in if it has been returned: on time, un-damaged, clean, equipment complete, holding tanks empty and fuel tank full. Deposits will be refunded in the same way they were given.

| What is Trip Protection Insurance? |
Trip Interruption Protection Insurance or TIP insurance is available to our customers at $15 per day. TIP covers pre-approved expenses for accommodation, and transportation (excluding fuel and food) up to the amount of the daily rental rate in the event of a mechanical breakdown requiring the vehicle to be in for repair more than 24 hours. Mechanical breakdown does not included the malfunctions of the radio/CD player, air conditioner, stove, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator/freezer, generator, furnace, water pump/water heater, or any appliance. TIP coverage only applies if mechanical breakdown to be repaired is for more than 24 hours after being reported to the rental station. Maximum liability coverage for Trip Interruption Protection is $1000 per rental. Customers must present receipts for refund of expenses for car rental and accommodation. TIP is not valid in even of a motor vehicle accident. TIP does not include coverage for personal injury.

| Is there a charge for the generator? |
Yes if you require a generator please inform us at the time of the booking, a $50 surcharge will apply.
Please note NOT all vehicles are equipped with a generator

| Do I need a special driver's license to drive a Motor Home? |
The renter and nominated drivers must hold and produce driver’s licenses valid for the period covered by the rental. Visitors to Canada may use valid licenses from the country of their residence or a current International Driver’s License. Those under 25 years of age or over 75 years of age may not drive without special permission from the rental station

| When can I pick up the Motor Home? |
Motor home pick ups are done between 10:00am-12:00pm, Monday through Saturday (Sunday closed). Trailer pickups are done between 1:00pm-3:00pm Monday through Friday and 1:00pm - 2:00pm Saturday.

| What kind of Motor Homes do you rent? |
Our web site lists all of the types and sizes of vehicles we rent. All of our rental vehicles are listed under the category: RV Rental Fleet.

| Is it difficult to drive a Motor Home? |
Motorhomes, handle much like a car, especially the "B" class which has a van chassis.

| Are Motor Homes difficult to hook up? |
No. Time will be spent to acquaint the renter with the use and operation of the vehicle. This will cover all aspects necessary for the enjoyment of a recreational vehicle.

| Does the Motor Home come equipped with pots and pans? |

| Are there levelers provided? |
Leveling blocks are included in the vehicle.

| Besides the rental cost are there any other charges I will incur? |
There is tax on rental charges and any kits you order. You will also be asked to pay fuel and cleaning/dumping deposits at the time of pick-up.

| Does the Motor Home come with a TV, VCR, or Stereo? |
There is an AM/FM radio with a CD player in the dash. Televisions with built in DVD players are available for rent for $70.00 (subject to availability, please reserve in advance).

| Are there rollout awnings on the Motor Home? |
No. You may wish to bring your own canopy or request shaded sites at campgrounds.

| Are pets allowed in the Motor Homes? |
No, Animals are NOT permitted in our vehicles. There will be a minimum fine of $150 if you carry a pet in your rented vehicle.

| Is there a limit to how many people can ride in the Motor Home? |

| Are there facilities close to the Rental Centre where we can purchase supplies, propane and dispose of holding tank contents? |
The staff at the rental centre will be glad to direct you to the closest shopping centre, fueling facilities and waste treatment centre.

| Can I park my car at your Rental Centre while we travel? |
Yes. Please bring a spare key if you wish to do so.

| Can we leave our luggage at the rental location? |
Yes.

| Are we allowed to travel into the United States? |
Yes, travel in the U.S. is allowed

| Can we travel one way to our destination or do we have to travel round trip? |
You must travel round-trip; we do NOT take one-way reservations.

| How do I pay for rental? |
We accept Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Please note that security and cleaning deposits MUST be made with a credit card.

| Can I tow my car or boat behind the Motor Home? |
No, we do not allow towing.
|
| How much does it cost to stay in campgrounds? |
Campground rates vary based on time of year and what facilities they offer. Generally you can expect to pay between $10 and $50 per night. Please note that a daily entrance fee may be applicable depending on the park/campground.

| What kind of facilities might a campground offer? |
Campgrounds may offer electric, water, sewer hook-ups, washrooms, showers, washer, dryer, swimming pool, playground, BBQ pits, on-site convenience store. Most provincial parks only offer electrical or non-electrical sites.

| What if I return the vehicle before the date it is due? |
No refunds will be made for early returns or late pick ups.
|
| What if I am late in returning the vehicle? |
Vehicles must be returned between 8am – 10am on the final day (Saturdays between 9-10). A rate of $50/hour will be charged for each hour overdue. Please contact our office if you will be late.

| Do you have baby car seats and cribs available? |
No we do not have car seats available for rent but we do have bed rails available for rent. Please book bed rails in advance as numbers are limited.

| Is it safe to drink the water from the Motor Home Tank? |
No, we do not recommend this. It is difficult to know if the water is potable when you fill the tank at a variety of locations. We recommend you use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The water from the tank is fine for washing and bathing.

| What if I am involved in an accident? |
You must contact Owasco RV Rentals within 24 hours of an accident and make a full report in writing as well as file a police report.
|
| What if the Motor Home breaks down? |
Owasco RV provides a toll free 24 hour road side assistant number to all customers. All repairs in excess of $75 must have prior approval from our customer service department.

| Are there bike racks? |
Yes there are bike racks available for rent at a charge of $2.00 per day with a maximum charge of $30.00. These must be reserved in advance as numbers are limited.

| Can you pick me up / drop me off at the airport? |
Yes, between 9:30am – 12pm; pick up from any airport hotel. Drop off at airport/airport hotel. Monday transfers are also from/to downtown hotels. Customers must contact us at least 1 day prior to pick up to arrange time.
Additional charges will apply for transfers.
